“The purpose of the Copeland Plan District is to preserve cultural continuity of the District by preservation of its architectural integrity and parks.”
 
The Copeland Plan Review Committee has overlay review of any change of an existing structure, including demolition and replacement of buildings within its boundaries.  Demolition shall be allowed only when the existing structure is determined to have no relationship to the district.  Proposed new construction, additions to existing structures or changes to existing architectural features shall be reviewed by the committee for appropriateness.
